Co-founder and manager of day-to-day operations at The18.com, a Boulder-based sports media company.
In 2014, The18 set out to build the world's most engaging soccer company, creating entertaining soccer content and delivering it how and where young consumers want it – on our website and across social media platforms. Since then, we have grown to reach 15M+ soccer fans every month.
My day-to-day role at The18 includes: overseeing our growth via organic and paid means; content strategy and creation via a network of 30+ staff and freelance writers, video editors, etc.; driving advertising revenue via programmatic, branded content and affiliate marketing; e-commerce logistics and growth; strategic growth planning, business operations and culture. Not to mention, watching/reading/writing lots about the beautiful game. And playing it terribly.
Previously, I led digital strategy at Greenhouse Partners, a brand strategy and advertising agency that incubated and continues to serve as lead agency for The18.com. In this role, I worked clients big and small in areas ranging from digital planning and execution, to content marketing, to brand strategy and innovation.
In my spare time I enjoy open water swimming, playing guitar, reading, writing, wrangling children and eating sandwiches – although, to be honest, wrangling children while eating sandwiches is questionably enjoyable.
