Mr. Julio de Unamuno IV was just a brown kid from Chula Vista when he became a father at 19. Today, Julio is Co-Founder & CEO at LabFellows where he leads a diverse team of 90%+ minority men and women building SaaS life science operations platform fulfilling their vision for world with 42% more biomedical breakthroughs.

Mr. de Unamuno IV also currently serves on UPS' Healthcare Advisory Board. Before joining LabFellows, Julio was Business Development Manager of Danaher Corporation, a Fortune 200 company, from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Mr. de Unamuno IV was the Southern California and Mexico Account Manager at SIMCO Electronics, and Academic Account Manager for scientific enterprise software company Accelrys, which recently sold to Dassault Systemes for $700M. Before his previous roles in industry, Julio worked as a computational biochemist and published anti-cancer researcher in academia.

He has more than 14 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology experience, including basic and applied R&D, business development, quality/regulatory, and manufacturing. Mr. de Unamuno IV holds a BA in Biochemistry from the University of San Diego and MBA from the Rady School of Management at University of California at San Diego.
