I run a digital direct response company that helps marketers who make the world more compassionate. We use content marketing, audience research, graph analysis, and strong measurement to help people drive leads and raise money. I like exploring new technology and ideas that press the envelope of marketing science. I also like coffee, beer, running, and playing the banjo.

Peter’s career has spanned across the disciplines of strategic planning, online marketing, and product development. Peter has worked for twenty years in direct marketing and marketing technology. He spent five years working for Convio, a company that makes online marketing and content management software to help organizations raise money, manage their web sites, and foster personal action.

As Director of Database Solutions Development at Merkle, Inc. Peter developed interactive and database systems to support the prospecting and engagement activities of clients including Universal Studios, Proctor and Gamble, T.G.I.Fridays, National Wildlife Federation, Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Microsoft.

Most recently, Peter was Vice President for Products and Strategy at SpotRight. There he guided the development of the platform and services that supported successful marketing campaigns for clients including Environmental Defense, the ASPCA, AARP, St. Jude, and prAna.

Peter holds a MA in communications from Georgetown University, and a BA in public policy from New York University.
